The information on this site is not medical advice
The content here is general information about physiotherapy and the conditions we treat. It is not a diagnosis and it is not a substitute for an individual clinical assessment. Everybody presents differently, and what is right for one person may be wrong for another.
Do not delay seeking medical advice because of something you have read here. If you have severe or worsening symptoms, loss of bladder or bowel control, numbness around the saddle area, unexplained weight loss, fever alongside back pain, or you feel generally unwell, contact your GP or NHS 111 promptly, or attend A&E if symptoms are severe.
Appointments, cancellations and payment
Appointments are booked through our online scheduling system or by contacting the clinic. Payment is due at the time of your appointment unless otherwise agreed. We ask for at least 24 hours notice to change or cancel an appointment. Appointments cancelled with less notice, or missed without notice, may be charged.
Private medical insurance
We work with major insurers. It remains your responsibility to confirm your cover, any excess and any authorisation required before your appointment. Where an insurer declines or delays payment, the fee remains payable by you.
Regulation and complaints
Josh Devine is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council, the statutory regulator for physiotherapists in the UK, and is a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy. If you are unhappy with any aspect of your care, please raise it with us directly in the first instance so we can put it right. You may also contact the HCPC.

Intellectual property
All content on this site, including text, photography and design, belongs to BetterMe Physiotherapy or is used under licence. You may view and print pages for your own personal use. You may not reproduce or republish content elsewhere without written permission.

If any part of your care falls short, we want to hear about it directly and quickly. Email bettermephysiotherapy@gmail.com or call 07429 097014 and Josh will respond personally, normally within two working days.
If you are not satisfied with how a concern has been handled, you can raise it with the Health and Care Professions Council, the statutory regulator for physiotherapists in the UK. Josh Devine's registration number is PH115523 and the register is free to search.
You can also raise concerns with the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy as his professional body.
